Before you decide to join and make a character, I have some important information. Because of the many differences between the comic, movie, and tv series... We had to roll the plot into one. And in doing so, there are some major and minor changes to the way the Blade series carries.
For instance, Hannibal King was changed into a vampire from Deacon Frost (Carried from the comic, but in the movie Donica Talos had done so.) But after he had turned, he spent his vampire years under the watchful eye of Donica Talos. When he fled, he met up with... That's just one part of a very detailed plot.
If you still have questions about a certain cannon character, or part of the plot, feel free to PM me. I will be happy to answer your many questions involving the plot. I will also give a list of characters, and how they are able to be on the site. Yes, vampires had been wiped off the face of the earth, but in the comics, it is shown that when the virus wears off, vampires begin to spring up again. And I'll have more information dealing with that inside the plot.
Basic history leading to the plot: (again, mixture of all three media)
Dracula, or otherwise known as Vlad Dracula. He had been born in Schassburg, Transylvania to a noble man. He once was named prince twice over in not only Transylvania, but in Wallachia as well. But had trouble keeping his throne.
When he became of age, he was arranged to marry a Hungarian noble woman and the birth of his first daughter, Lilith. His second wife, Maria, had a son named Vlad Tepelus. Again, Dracula married a third time to Domini, and fathered a son named Janus.
Out of wedlock, he later would have fathered another child without him knowing. This child will be the downfall to a long life of rule.
Dracula had fought a losing battle with Turac, a Turkish warlord. He was mortally injured, and Turac took the dying man to see a gypsy named Lianda. She would turn out to be the vampire who would turn Dracula. Lianda did so in retaliation to the way he had treated fellow gypsies.
Turac raped and killed Maria, and out of revenge, Dracula slays Turac. Vlad Tepelus would later be given to gypsies in hopes that they would raise him.
Dracula would later meet Varnae, Lord of Vampires. Varnae is the first vampire. He has fought with Conan the Barbarian, and many others. The Lord had a servant named Nimrod, who served Varnae well. But when the Lord of Vampires tried to produce an heir, things went horribly wrong. In turning Dracula into his heir, he had died in the process. Nimrod had taken upon himself to be the new Lord of Vampires. Even as a mentally imbalanced servant took the reins, it did not sit well with the prodigy.
Dracula had became furious, and decided to fight Nimrod and take his place. When this happened and he destroyed the servant, no sooner did he find out that Nimrod was the ultimate test from Varnae to seek Dracula's true worthiness. Dracula had now become the true Lord of Vampires.
He would have his blood enhanced by Varnae, giving him far greater powers than any other vampire.
In the 19th century, Dracula will face Abraham van Helsing and Jonathan Harker. They would destroy Dracula, but it won't keep him buried for long. Because a century later, he would meet even more vampire hunters. Such as Frank Drake, who is his descendant. Also there would be Rachael van Helsing (Abraham's granddaughter), Quincy Harker, Gagliostro, and Solomon Kane.
None of those would count for much other than Blade, who would be the main threat after his first meeting.
(now we move into Blade's history)
When Blade was born in Chicago, Illinois... (I kept the movie location, though many of the protagonists and antagonists are from outside the US.) Deacon Frost had assaulted his mother, Vanessa Brooks. Blade had been fostered in a number of homes, and bounced constantly because of his, uniqueness. But when he was around age nine, he had a run in with an elderly man being attacked by three vampires. Blade helped the elderly man kill the vampires. The boy would soon learn the name, Jamal Afari. Jamal was an expert in combat and weaponry. Blade would live with the mentor till about age thirteen.
With Jamal, Blade would fight the uneducated young vampires, but had one day crossed the wrong crowd. He joined a gang called the Bloodshadows, and their leader was Lamia. Soon, Blade would enter a fight with Afari against Dracula. Unfortunately, Jamal would be turned by the Lord of Vampires, and the boy himself slew Afari.
Blade would wander the streets, feeding off the homeless when a scrappy old man would attempt to help the boy. Abraham Whistler took Blade in, even though Whistler had a hatred for Vampires. Training the boy some more, and building advanced weapons, Whistler had made a serum for Blade. This would suppress Blade's need of blood.
(this is where it gets a bit complicated... please bare with me)
Over the next fifteen years... Blade continues on his quest to find his mother's killer, Deacon Frost. His search leads him around Europe, and he seems to find Dracula again in France, but also runs into the Harker's vampire hunters. Quincy Harker (Jonathan Harker's son) the founder, and a few others: Rachael van Helsing, Taj Nital and Frank Drake. Blade kept contact with the group, but only talked to them on a need to know basis. The relationship would continue to be strained until he would befriend Frank Drake.
(I'm not 100% certain that Quincy is Jonathan's son.)
In London, Blade would run into Morbius, the Legion of the Dead, and some evil vampire children. Blade is back in the US, but in Boston, Massachusetts. There he joins Harker's Crew and Dracula to fight Doctor Sun. Dracula is later nowhere in sight after the battle.
Blade then returns to Chicago, to continue his search for Frost.
(now we begin with King's background a bit before he meets up with Blade)
Hannibal King, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. King had worked as a private detective. Later, he would cross paths with Deacon Frost. Frost attacked King, and turned into a vampire. When Frost bored with torturing the new slave, he passed him down to another vampire, Donica Talos. She would torture him and enslave him for the good of fifty-sixty years. King would find himself escape from the belly of the beast. Knowing that he would never live with himself if he gorged on human flesh, or used his vampire abilities... King survived off of stolen blood from blood banks and corpses or animals.
King would work as a private detective, but only be able to work at night. When King looked for Deacon Frost in hopes of destroying the man that turned him into a monster, but he runs into Blade. Blade, disliking King, didn't like the idea of a stranger lurking around the hideout.
Blade runs into someone who he least expected to. His mother was one of Frost's mistresses. And she lures him into a trap set by Frost. Deacon was wanting to become La Magra, and needed Blade's blood complete the transformation. King is again trapped and tortured by Donica Talos, she is upset that he had gotten away from her before, but tells him that he'll never get away now.
King stabs Talos, but she flees, and King gets to Blade before it was too late. Blade feeds off of his mother, killing her, but it keeps him alive. Blade and King reach Deacon Frost and kill him. Keeping to their strained relationship, they separated. But Whistler would have plans of his own.
(Some history about Whistler, leading to Doctor Strange and his daughter Abigail)
Whistler had a hate for vampires. He had this hate since his wife and two daughters were slaughtered as he was tortured into choosing which ones should go first. He vowed to hunt them and seek revenge for the pain he felt. But during those first years, finding and hunting vampires, Whistler fell in love again. He would leave the woman he loved in hopes that the same thing wouldn't happen to her. But he would soon find out he had a daughter.
Whistler had met Doctor Strange three years prior to meet Blade. Doctor Strange would become friends with Whistler, though Abraham wouldn't fully trust the Doctor. Strange proposed that they begin a group of vampire hunters after he learns about Blade four years later. Whistler decides that since Blade was mortal, it would be best to have his work carried on after the boy had long since been gone, and the war wouldn't die with him.
Doctor Strange had recruited Whistler's daughter even though he opposed the idea. He didn't want to lose another child to vampires. But she was perfect for the job, and would prove not only smart… But fit for combat. He kept the whole operation secret from Blade in hopes of keeping the boy's mind on training and focused on his hunts. (age wise for example… Blade would be fifteen, and Abigail would be 10...since blade ages slow he would seem much younger than he physically appears.)
Doctor Strange helped in creating the serum to help Blade fight of the thirst for blood. He wanted to make a powerful serum that would cure Blade of his thirst completely. But Whistler was afraid that it would cure Blade of his vampire abilities in whole. So he refused to work on the cure for Blade.
Over time, and after Blade had met Frank Drake and Hannibal King; Strange and Whistler had asked them to join the Nightstalkers. It was the name Doctor Strange had so affectionately called the hunters. Again, Whislter began to mistrust Doctor Strange even more so as time went on, he began to doubt whether his intentions were true. His Daughter would soon be of age to work for the group. When she turned fifteen, she had been training by fighting the young breed of vampires.
But as soon as she was seventeen, she was seen fighting alongside Hannibal King and Frank Drake. Whom was told to take care of Abi by her father, in hopes of keeping her out of harms way. King had become affectionate towards Abi, and tried to stay far from her when they were alone. She took this as a sign that he didn’t want to be friends. And kept her distance from him in spite of them working together. It wouldn’t be till after her supposedly father died, that King would then become close to Abigail. He would soon take the cure given to Hannibal by Strange and Whistler.
(Morbius, he will be a major protagonist)
Morbius, once a Nobel Prize winning biochemist, had experimented on a cure for a rare blood disease. He had used vampire bats and electroshock therapy, but it went terribly wrong. He was afflicted with far worse conditions than that of vampires dealing with blood thirst. He lacked all the weaknesses of vampires, but had a weakness to sunlight.
(Because this is where the idea of the reapers had come from, I decided he would be the first... Though, Morbius would look more like a normal vampires. Eli Damaskinos would try to replicate his DNA into his son, Nomak, to try to replicate Blade's powers. When Morbius bit someone... They wouldn't be able to transform, and would immediately die soon afterwards. But Nomak's transformation leaves him as you see in the second Blade movie. And as he carries on those genes to others, they would also become reapers. Because the genetic coding becomes more diluted, they would die if they could not feed, Nomak would be an exception to the rule.)
As S.H.I.E.L.D. came into play, Morbius would sign the registration act. He would work with the organization to catch Blade. Of course, the corporation would be corrupt concerning vampires, and would soon lead to them framing Blade for killing humans. Though, they would be the familiars working for the vampires.

S.H.I.E.L.D. was first organized by Nick Fury after the second world war. The UN had made it an official organization, funding every project the group had. The headquarters is a helicarrier that is at all times stationed in the air. There, there are eight levels of security clearance, and no one other than superhumans, and the people working for either the government or the organization know about it. Nick Fury was later succeeded by Maria Hill.
Maria Hill would ultimately fail her position, and would then step down to allow Tony Stark to take over. Other members who work for S.H.I.E.L.D. are Timothy "Dum Dum" Dugan and Gabriel "Gabe" Jones. They both worked with Fury in WWII, and like Fury, have an unnatural youthful appearance and longevity.
S.H.I.E.L.D. has many bases on ground in use today. They are normal places with no public access and have the highest level of security. Which those bases in and around the Chicago area would be used to search for Blade. Though, the organization has good intentions, vampires had made their way into the organization, framing the Daywalker, and unfortunately leading for his arrest.

Plot for the site:
Time is the year 2008, and the theme is the return of vampire life. After the Montesi Formula had wiped out all the vampires around the globe, it has unfortunately worn off. This leads to the resurrection of old vampires, and bringing forth new ones as well. Many of Blade’s old enemies have come back and are looking for revenge. Joined with the Nightstalkers, and other hunters from around the globe, he hunts again. The weapons are more advanced, the threat more dangerous. Familiars have wised up and stay under the radar, watching out for the Daywalker. Things have gotten worse… Dracula returns stronger than ever. And he is looking for blood. Reapers are taking to the streets again, but not just looking for food… looking to kill all and any hunter that crosses their path. S.H.I.E.L.D. has taken a stronghold, and is infiltrated once more with vampires and their familiars. What will happen to the human race? What will Blade do to save the humans against the constant danger? Only time will tell…
