The blood's gone, the memory's there. Sitting in front of a computer, searching for an answer hoping that it wasn't true. They worked so hard to destroy vampires, it couldn't be true. King sat back a moment... That's when it came up. Sightings in Prague, and it wasn't even covered up. Three people dead from being drained. This wasn't good. He had to go talk to the only member of the group, see if they needed to look into it.
Walking into the main room, where there was a large court with a basketball hoop, and a fairly impressive stereo cranking out music. He could tell it wasn't what his teammate usually listened to, it was heavy stuff. King hit the off switch to the radio, and looked around the room. "Hey, we need to talk." He yelled out. For a moment, he even wondered if the girl was around. Stepping into the middle of the room, he did a 360, and spoke once more in a monotone.

Stepping out of the shower, she wiped down the mirror. Letting down her hair, she noticed that a breeze swept through. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't right. Not here, of all places, the windows and doors were closed. There was no way the air could have swept through like that. She began to blow dry her hair... The music stops. Tying her hair up, dressing quickly, she begins to head out above the landing... Abi could hear Kings voice. He didn't sound pleasant, and when she got to the railing she heard him say it.
"It can't be. We destroyed them, and we used Dracula to do it." She leaned on the railing. She was upset Hannibal had drawn her out of the bathroom for this. "I was having a good morning, and would have been drying my hair if you hadn't turned off my music..." She said with a cautious look toward him. "What makes you think they're back to begin with?"

Crossing his arms, and looking to wards the bathroom... King smiled. "Well for one thing, three dead bodies have been drained dry of blood. And there's not evidence to suggest any ritual or animal doing it. Well, if they knew vampires existed." He then looked at her. "You were in the bathroom and didn't invite me?" Turning around, he picked up the packet of papers he had printed out. "If you don't believe me, see for yourself." King threw them back on the table, looking back at Abi.
"You might want to see Blade and ask him what he thinks." Walking out of the room, he waved a hand. "He has esp or some sort of spiritual connection to the weird and down right nasty." King put his hand on the stereo power button... "I really was glad they were gone, though I did like kicking some vampire ass."

Blade walked to a lonely looking building. Inside there was chatter and well it seemed someone wasn't happy. Walking through papers were tossed onto a table. "Ask me about what?" His voice was low and not excited. The times had changed as far as Blade knew, looking at Hannibal leave while he pushed a button on the radio, Blade saw Abigail. “Seems like we have a problem.” He knew well that something was happening. An old mansion that was passed by him and others when ever someone tried to run was back in business.

Walking down the stairs, Abigail picked up the papers. "These don't really mean anything King. Sorry to burst your bubble, but why do you keep searching for vampires when you enjoy them being gone?" She let out a groan, as a large packet of paper sat on the table. When a familiar voice rang... Blade had decided to visit them. She was a little startled, because King and Whistler hadn't seen him since a month after the fight with Dracula. "Hey, I thought you weren't coming back... Ever."
Walking into the kitchen, she opened the refrigerator. "King has been obsessed lately, he watches the news constantly. Or I can find him on the computer fifty percent of the day. Not to mention his lack of sleep hasn't exactly made him pleasant." Turning to Blade, opening a small bottle of juice, she looked out the window. "They're not back are they? I don't want them back, life here is so much nicer. What brings you here anyways?" For a moment, she sounded like she wasn't upset, rather worried.

King came running in. He was overwhelmed and out of breath. Once he had regained himself, he began to speak. "Hey... You guys... Better come see... This!" King ran back into the study, and on the television, there was a man on location somewhere in the middle east. He had on a tan shirt and a baseball hat. He was middle aged and had his fingers on his ear piece. In the background, the scene showed several animals and humans who looked like they were gorged on. The reporter spoke in a Brit accent. "This is unbelievable. Several animals and humans have been massacred in the early hours yesterday. It has yet to be established what had killed them, but it appears that they have been drained fully of blood and their organs have been removed." Slowly, the man had moved closer to the scene of the animals. "Two dogs have been mutilated, and a horse had been turned inside out. But as you can see, no blood was spilled where the bodies lay. So it appears they have been moved. But it is highly unlikely that they were because of the number of bodies and the size of the horse."
King never took his eyes off of the reporter. He felt that this was the work of vampires. What he couldn't understand, was that the organs were removed. The reporter continued, "Amazingly, the human remains were not mutilated. Other than the organ's missing, they seem normal considering the circumstances. The only odd fact, where how the bodies were drained. The necks were slashed, and there's evidence that they might have died from blood loss or drowning. We'll have more on this subject when more information is readily available." King muted the television, hoping that Blade and Abi caught what he caught. And hopes that he wasn't dreaming.

“Like I said trouble.” He hadn’t moved an inch from his place and it wasn’t something he was going to do until he decided. Looking over at Hannibal and his amazement in the news Blade stood a few away next to a wall. Leaning against it and crossing his arms Blade looked at Abigail. “Seems to me they are reborn and they are confused or angry.” He didn’t want to uncross his arms and as he looked at King his face stubborn and unable to change. “I came here because you have something I need.”
Blade wasn’t going to say what but instead he walked back around to the computer and yanked out the cords from the PC. Now it was unplugged and dead. The PC cords were yanked out next. Picking it up he placed it on the table and looked at Hannibal. “I need you to take out all the memory cards and everything else something can be stored on. At the rate their coming back they will attack soon enough.” Heading off Blade found himself staring at the door. At the closest wall he stood against it arms crossed.

Feeling absolutely on edge, Abi punched the wall. "Vampires are absolutely disgusting." Hate was on the tip of her tongue. She refused to let it take her over, and it was hard because she was usually so calm and assertive. She watched blade dismantle the computer. Her eyebrow raised, and she was surprised. "You know, you could have practically destroyed it." She said in an annoyed tone. "Wouldn't it had been better to just ask us for a copy of our files?" Turning the television off she wondered... What did Blade want, and why would he be so vigorous in retrieving it?
"So, what are we to do now? If there are vampires in the middle east, how do we not know if there are any here?" Picking up the pc to the computer, Abi had a thought. "You know... There are way's of hacking into multiple government systems. I'm sure we could track down all possible attacks that mimic vampires. It would take a couple of days, but I'm sure we can trace all vampires in the immediate vicinity." Looking at Blade... "Need any new weapons?"

"No new weapons, and no copies. I need the orignals." Vampires... they were disgusting. But did that mean he thought he himself was disgusting it didn't really make enough since. "Yeah they're back in the city and the country. One of them I know lives outside of the city. The lights turned on about the time the event in the middle east happened. She's keeping 'records' on Drake and Dracula. Even though most are known as legend." Abigail wasn't going to depart with the information that easily now but what could Blade do?

A chill ran down Hannibal's spine, the tingle of anxiety and hate overwhelmed him as Blade mentioned Drake's name. He was annoyed that the half-breed friend would even mention that monster's name. But he's right. How could they exclude the possibilities that the vampires are returning just in the desert.
He looked at Abigail, something hit him below the belt. Was there something she knew which she has reluctantly has not mentioned? She usually never, never since her bought with Drake, brought up any new weapons, at least new ones that didn't fight off the werewolf threat. What had the girl been up to? She was hiding something from King, and this displeased him.
"At any rate, it wouldn't hurt to spy on the old hangouts. I'm sure they are still creatures of habit." He said this more to Blade than he did to Abigail. King was thinking that Blade might have an idea where the newly born Vamps would be hiding. Or worse yet, where they were feeding.

It hit her like a ton of bricks. If blade took all of the original files, then Hannibal and Abigail would have to start from scratch. Making the two fall far behind Blade. Was this his ploy to stop them from hunting? She was not happy, and her eyes showed a little dislike for Blade, her face completely even.
"Sorry, but you can't have the original information. We need it just as much as you do if they are back. But I can copy everything we have, and every possible vampire known. But I can't give you everything you want. We would be caught in the dark without the originals." Her mouth contorted into a half smile. And here eyes flicked to Hannibal. He obviously was thinking about staking out the old haunts. This was probably a smart, or stupid idea. What if the vampires moved on since then? It was hard to keep from thinking that they would be overwhelmed by the sheer chaos of the newly liberated vampires.
She pulled out a little memory card from her desk, and picked up the now, somewhat, dismantled computer. "It will take a few moments, but I'll have copies for you. I have back ups, but I can't part with those either."

"King you can try but they are just creatures made for feeding." Blade wasn't really ready to allow Abigail to make copies. "I need the originals. You can keep copies." Blade didn't care about copies, he didn't care if she made them but he wasn't going to leave without what he came for. And that was the original files.

He once more flicked through the channels. As if he was finding something, but was totally disinterested. His heart wasn't in it, King was more interested in what was going on with the underworld than the Power Puff Girls. "You know what this means. This means that Drake can come back don't you." He knew no one wanted to admit it, but knew that it was true. It would be another repeat of what happened not long ago. "I don't think if he did, he'd sit around and wait for revenge."
The thought of Abigail getting hurt was the worst feeling he had. "I'm going to go for a walk. I'll be back in a few minutes." King threw the remote across the room, he was already out the door before anyone could say anything. The images of his old friends slaughtered, or the thought of how they died disgusted him. In a way, he hated himself.

Abigail was angry with Blade, and couldn't help but snap at him. "Fine, but I want my computer back in one piece blade. Or so help me God I'll kill you myself." She glared at him. The equipment she invested in was not cheap. The electronics had cost an arm and a leg. If she could steal it, she would use the money that came with killing werewolves to pay for it. "You better promise me you will bring it back in one piece, or replace it if you break it." Her tone was harsh. She couldn't help but be mean.
"Drake can't come back. Not yet atleast, he would be to weak if he did." She was a bit calmer now, her hair frizzed a bit from the lack of time she took to blow dry it. "I would be more worried about our safety when there seems to be some really upset vampires who are being reborn, they would want blood just as much as Drake would." The computer was half way making a copy of the hard drive. She wasn't going to let him go with out keeping some of the data.
The remote made a cracking sound off of the wall. She winced momentarily as if a bomb had gone off. He was upset, but didn't know what it was. It wasn't just the vampires, something else bothered him. "Sorry about him, who knows what had gone over him. I guess he wants to be alone." She said quietly as he walked out the door. She wasn't going to say anything else for a moment. Abi's mind was racing.
